Preservation not Restoration! 1979 Ford F150 4x4 automatic transmission. 45,000 original 2 owner miles! Factory FreeWheelin' package! ***Listing for a buddy I have known for 20 years. I found this truck for sale by the original owner in SW Wisconsin. I was aware he was looking for an old Ford truck and I put him togetherr with the Seller*** This truck was bought from the original owners widow last summer less than 20 miles from the Ford dealership where it was purchased new in Richland Center WI. The original owners bought this truck new for Sundays and special occasions. They were successful farmers and wanted something special to drive on those extra special days off. The truck was always stored inside and was taken to Canada by the couple once when it was still relatively new towing a small 16' fishing boat. The truck saw very limited use otherwise, was never used on the farm and shows very little wear. A few years after her husbands passing the truck was given a full dealer servicing including new 15" alluminum rims and 32" radial tires. It is believed that the original color matched spoked rims rusted and no longer would hold a good tire seal so they unfortunately are gone forever. When picking up the truck the widow produced the original sales receipt along with the original cancelled check for payment! This truck is amazing! I have owned many collector vehicles and I have never found one in as good condition with all original paint and every single bulb working and absolutly no wind noise, shake shimmy or rattle. Everything works as new! The motor runs excellant and starts at the touch of the key no matter what! It has not been smoked in, the original seat is in excellant condition and I love the attention it gets! There are photos of the worst of the rust, and it isn't much! the bed has a plastic bedliner in that the widow said they installed it shortly after the truck was purchased and she claims the bed should be in excellant condition if it was removed, I do not doubt her one bit. I would drive this truck anywhere on a moments notice, its that roadworthy. It really drives like new. The owner's name is Sean and he can be reached at 262-894-0061.
