Hi, Thanks for looking at our ad. I am selling this fine automobile for my neighbor that she has owned since 1980. She is very thorough and particular about all of her possessions that she takes very good care of. She keeps great records and can answer most any question about this car. Here is what she has written about this car: 1980 Datsun 280ZX Hatchback Coupe – 5 Speed Manual – 76K Original Miles – Clear Title This beauty is in excellent original unrestored condition. Selling “As Is” and it is special! Basically one owner; I purchased it in 1980 with only 3414 miles. Engine and Transmission great. Shifts perfectly. 1980 Owner’s Manual. Great gas mileage! You could drive it home! I have taken great care of this vehicle with all fluid checks every 3K miles since 1980. Never in an accident and always garaged. Minimum rust spots (see pics). Repairs and maintenance as needed throughout the years. Passenger side door professionally auto body-shop repainted several years ago to deal with door dings. You’d never know! Windshield replaced and resealed due to rock chip from passing truck several years ago. Solid seals; no leaks. 5-speed in-line 6 cylinder fuel injected 2.8L engine. Power brakes, steering, windows, and mirrors. All work. Cruise control and Factory Air which works and blows cold. Silver over blue with blue and silver soft fabric seats. Driver’s seatback shows wear at point of entry (see pics). Headliner in good shape, but beginning to unfasten by driver’s door. Hatch carpet terrific. 280ZX custom carpeted floor mats add style. No dashboard cracks. Trip odometer resets hard. A/C blower surges at times, but works well. Vanity mirror needs reattachment. Power antenna disconnected when Sirius Satellite Radio antenna and Clarion DXZ435 AM/FM CD installed in 2003. (You will have to renew your own subscription to Sirius XM when it expires.) Has custom faceplate for radio with original faceplate and radio in box. Original dash storage box, power antennae, and radio parts included. Antenna mast snapped off in carwash; replaced with standard after-market quarter antenna mast. Goodyear Eagle GT II P195/70R14 tires 03/22/99 at 54K Miles. Aluminum Alloy original wheels refurbished by Mitchell International in 2007. Check left rear tire which tends to slow leak over time. Hasn’t been a major issue.
