I am selling my 2003 Toyota Celica GT. I have had this car for about a year and a half. My son used this as an everyday car during the school year, mainly used for back and forth between school. Now we need a truck more than a sports car. Since purchased we have added new tires, new O2 sensors, entirely new stock exhaust including the catalytic converter, and it passed Missouri safety and emmisions inspection about six months ago. Car is stock except for the body kit (including front clip, skirts and the rear wing), the rims, and the head and tail lights. Car is lowered a few inches with what I believe are Toyota TRD aftermarket springs, which means it rides a little like a go-cart but corners like it's on rails. What's wrong with it (that I know of)? Paint is not perfect, some dings, the interior is showing its age, clock not working, wheels have some curb rash, uses oil (but does NOT smoke). What's good? Most of the stuff that could screw you on a state emmisions inspection was fixed when I had to get the "Check Engine" light fixed last year ($2000+); all of the stuff works (lights, A/C, radio, sunroof, locks, windows, etc.) and the body is actually in pretty decent shape for a car of this age. 1.8L 4 cylinder, automatic, front wheel drive, air conditioning, power locks, power windows, cruise control, power steering, tilt wheel, AM/FM/CD cassette, dual air bags, sliding sun roof, rear spoiler, premium wheels. Kelley Blue Book clean private party value ranges from $4494 (fair condition) to $5869 (excellent condition). "Suggested Retail" is $7544. NADA trade-in ranges from $3575 (rough condition) to $5275 (clean condition). "Clean Retail" is $7675. I thought I sold this car twice before (last time in February) but had bidders who didn't follow through. Please...don't bid if you can't buy the car.
