Year Year: 2003 Model: Jetta GLS 5 speed Manual Transmission Miles when purchased in 2010: 129701 Current Miles: 134,880 Color: Blue 4Door Sedan I bought the car in 2010 because my wife and I were planning to move back to NY but our plans have changed so the car has been driven very little and is either in the driveway at my parents house or at my sisters while I am in Germany for around 9 month of the year. This Jetta is German engineering at its best. Solid, fast, reliable. This car drives very smoothly, has serious power / speed, is really comfortable, and reliable. I just noticed that when it rains the car seems to taken on water in the passenger side. this will have to be taken care of. Mechanically, I have never had an issue. I have had it checked regularly at Strauss. I put in heavy duty Tokico Sports shocks (front and rear) so it handles very well and takes the NY streets like it owns them. I also changed the rear taillights because the dealer who sold it to me backed it into a car in the lot cracking a light and scuffing up the bumper. I also changed the windshield in 2010 but unfortunately something fell on the windshield during a storm and there is a crack from the top of the windshield in the center. It costs about $185 to get a new windshield. The title is clear and in my hand so you can get in it and drive it home the same day :-).
