Up for auction is this very sporty '59 T-bird. Metallic white, with white & black interior, 352 V-8 with automatic on the column. This car starts good & the brakes are good. It has dual exhaust with thrush mufflers to make it sound cool, but not too loud either. The engine compartment is exceptionally clean. (see pics) The trunk area is solid with a small amount of rust in the area near the corner.(very minimal) It has two small dents on the spears along side of the door.(see pics) The radial tires are 'iffy' but hold air. I've been driving around with them, but they could be changed. The headlights work on low beam but not on bright. It needs a new antenna so the radio will play. It was repainted 4 yrs ago & looks OK, but not perfect. The guages work, but speedo needs new cable(just broke) The horn needs to be fixed. The interior is Ok, nice headliner, dash pad & console. The seats have covers on them & it does need new or recovered doorpanels. They are in poor shape. The passenger side window is cracked. Overall this is a pretty nice, sharp car, that runs good, stops good with the need of a some minor repairs. The reserve is below $7K. This is a really flashy looking car going down the road or parked in the drive. It really gets alot of looks & compliments whenever I go 'cruisin'.
