Up for bid is my 1997 Porsche Boxster 986 Black on Black w/Black top, tint & wheels! Looks Amazing and is a Blast to Drive! Low 70k miles, 5 speed manual shifts great! Has upgraded newer style tail lights, have xenon hid bulbs (not installed yet), LED rear plate light, BBS sport shifter, carbon fiber adhesive clear corner, euro front plate. Passed smog, added battery, changed engine hoses and replaced fluids, etc. and runs like a top! Please note the car was salvaged years ago due to front end damage, the previous owner fixed it. I brought out my body guy and mechanic when purchased checked for frame damage etc. and it was fine. We took at high speeds with no vibration. I have the title in hand and has already gone through the salvage process with DMV and has recently passed smog. The paint is not pristine but to me is fine, there are small scuffs, rock chips and was keyed at one point but touch up paint was added. The interior has no rips or tears, but has normal wear, which is expected. Door panels are good and all gauges work just fine. The main thing I didn’t fix is the passenger window (does not work, needs a new module), but top and driver window work just fine (which for a 2 seater is most important!). I got a quote and it would be around $200 for the module and to install. The radio either needs to be reprogrammed at Porsche with code as the new owner (I never updated or simply replace with new radio unit). I enjoy the sound of the engine and with the top down the breeze is awesome. This is a driver quality car, I purchased to get around town in style and for the price of a used miata, instead you can drive in sharp looking Porsche…Reason for sale is I have way too many cars and this is the one I least drive.
