You are Bidding on a 100% stock buick grand national. I bought the car for an easy restore project in 2006 and have moved a few times with work and school. It seems that I can't get a break and a chance to spend time on this car so hence is the reason it's now on ebay. I will try and go over everything on the car. Interior: Back seat is in perfect condition looks new still, the drivers seat has a small tear on butt cushion upholstery, the back cushion is good. the pasenger seat has tears on back and butt cushion upholstery due to my wife thinking it was a good idea to put a box in MY grand national on one of our moving trips, (Women just don't understand). So the fabric is delicate being 26 years old. But its not stained the carpets and floor mats are clean and in excellent shape. The center console is in really good shape, it does have a few cracks around the number selector plate(it's plastic and easily replaceable) the dash is in really good shape, the speaker cover on drivers side is a little warped but other than that its in really good shape, has always had a dashmat on it. The headliner needs replaced, the sunroof leaked and drooped the headliner. All the accesories on the car work, has ice cold a/c which was converted to r-134 by the owner before me. he also gave me the receipts from what he has spent on the car over the past 20 years and the original owners manual and other stuff. the cruise control works, the original stereo works and still sounds good. um sunroof needs a new gear on the motor it pops when you try to open it the trunk area still looks new its in really good shape with the spare still in there.. think thats it on interior. Exterior: Zero rust, the body is perfectly straight with 4 minor, minor door dings. all the mouldings are in place, has all the emblems on car except its missing one of the 3.8 turbo emblems. All lights are perfect shape, the paint is in ok shape it's still glossy on the sides and looks good, but the top of the car is dull, maybe a good buff job. Sat in my dads dusty shop for 4 years. thats about it on the exterior. Now for the drive train. The motor ran when I put it in storage I started it and drove it to my house and when I got on it, it would start to backfire at about 4psi of boost. Also noticed the valve covers leaking oil, so I looked up the propblm for the backfire on the internet and said to replace the coil pack and the ecm so i spent 600.00 on those and still dident fix the problem, then it said the crank sensor gets gunked up and to clean it, so I located the sensor removed it and unplugged it and cleaned it plugged it back in and now it has the check engine light on and will not start. Probly easy fix???? also noticed that the torque lock on tranny converter would not unlock sometimes,probly from the years of storage. I love this car, i love driving it and love the power it has when i push down on the gas pedal, I have been working out of town for past 2.5 years and Dad made me move my car out of his garage so he could move in his newest project, So with no time and no covered parking Ive decided to sell it so I dont have to see it sitting outside anymore. My dad said I will regret selling my car, and Im sure I will but I guess I can always buy a GNX after I make my first million. HAHA. Happy bidding.
