For sale this rare little 1930 American Austin Coupe. The American Austin Car Company was incorporated in Delaware in 1929 and headquartered in Butler, Pennsylvania just outside of Pittsburgh, PA. The company built small automobiles based on the Austin Seven of the Austin Motor Company of Birmingham, England. These automobiles were fuel-efficient, cost effective, and mechanically uncomplicated. It has a 747cc engine,15hp and a 3 speed manual transmission. The car runs and drives great.Engine runs great,doesnt smoke or overheat. New battery,plugs,wires,points,distr cap was installed. The exterior is clean,had been repainted sometime in the 70's to its original color,and stored indoors. The car is from california and has no rust at all.The interior has new upholstery tan and chocolate brown. It also has a new top. All electrical system works,it has new electrical wiring. All the gauges,headlights,horn work. Brakes were all redone , new exhaust system was installed. 4 new tires all around. Overall the car is in fantastic shape,with the rite amount of patina.
