Vehicle Detail
Up for Sale is a 1999, High Top, Ford, E-150 Van. This is a GLAVAL Conversion. Best Van I ever owned, Mechanically perfect. 142,200 miles and going up (I am still using it). Burns no oil. I am the second owner, I bought it about 4 years ago from the first owner (my neighbor) who did most of the mileage of the van driving Interstate between Philadelphia to Tampa. He took great care of it, so do I. This van has a clean and clear title and is ready for you to take ownership. We are a nonsmoking family and this van is used once or twice a month. It is a comfy ride but we have to move up North and bringing “Old Blue” (Van was named from first owner) is not simple. I will keep it if it doesn't sell. Oil changes have been done regularly, usually with synthetic oil, all plugs were changed with coil packs by first owner (note thet I only put around 15,000 miles in 4 years. I changed the battery 2 months ago (it's a Reconditioned but looks new). I also changed the Air filter and the oil. We have never had a major, mechanical issue. It has never been in an accident, the right side is lightly dented from the first owner's wife backing in something. It has a 4.6 Liter V8 engine that runs fantastic, and provides plenty of smooth power to get this vehicle moving in a hurry. Being a “small” V8, It is reasonable on Gas (if your foot is not too heavy; I managed 19 MPG going to Miami, 60 mpH steady on the interstate) It is a smooth, solid ride. The exterior is Light blue with the only rust being in the roof gutter over the back doors, water seems to sit there. Tires are still good for a while but are showing some sun damages, right rear tire loses a little bit of air pressure over a week or so. If you plan on travelling far, a new set of tires would be nice. Interior is nice and solid, seats are very comfy, back bench opens to a small bed, there are a few stains on the carpet. This van has all the options: ABS, Alarm, dual Air Conditioning front and rear, cruise control, power everything... The outside features a heavy duty tow package (class 3/4 (10,000lbs uniform load), rear barn doors (one door holder missing), side barn doors (one more door holder missing), running boards, mags. Once inside, you will find quad captain, reclining chairs up front, along with a folding, sofa benchseat in the rear that moves up and down, to create a bed and sleeping space. Seating capacity is 7 passengers. The entertainment package of this Van includes a TV with VHS player with Video IN to plug your DVD player or Game console. Note that it's an older TV so you would need a digital converter and an antenna to watch what's on the air. It has rear Panasonic CD player (which I never used so I dont know if it works) windowblinds and moodlights. This Van is a nice travelling companion. Ready for some more adventures We are in Gibsonton (10 miles south east of Tampa downtown) Please contact me through EBAY to arrange for a viewing and test drive or if you have any questions about “Old Blue”
