Volvo 850 for $775 / Needs some TLC 1996 Volvo 850 4 Dr. Green Sedan - A Volvo handy man project. You can repair the car (work on it yourself) not a bad car to purchase at this price! This car will sell to the first $750 CA$H - (FIRM) The car has been driven upto now. It has been running fairly well. I've driven at highway speeds few months back. The car never shaked at 65 - 70. I've kept up with oil changes. I've owned it about 3.5 yrs.. Car has some body damage but, not lots. The paint is still in decent condition. STARTS & RUNS This car is registered / insured. Short term test runs alright. You wont be able to take at high speed. The bearing in front wheel needs to be replaced. GOOD Points 1.) Inspection good untill Dec. 2013 2.) Oxygen sensors replaced (brand new) on 1/4/2010 have work slip 3.) Car has had complete (rear) brake job not long back. Must still have some good parts. 4.) Car has all real good tires (name brand) 5.) Wind shields front & rear in tack (no cracks or, brakes) light lens etc. all good 6.) Powered windows, mirrors etc. all work. 7.) Heater, defog etc. all work Some BAD Points / Things that need some FIXING 1.) Car needs a bearing (front wheel) absolute essential, (FIX before driven.) 2.) Car AC unit doesn't work but, power sun roof works well 3.) Stock stereo is broken (easy to replace with a stock unit) 4.) At times car picks up at a slower pace from a stand still. Picks up good at other times. Cars drive / reverse all work. 5.) Car has various dashboard lights on. ABS, Check Engine etc.. 6.) A loose connection in ignition (key slot) makes cars, turn signals, speedometer not work. All work most the time. You can wiggle the ignition (key slot piece a little) everything turns right back on. 7.) The mile counter has stopped. The reading is at 133 k but, car has about 155 k stopped about two years back. I drive about about 11 k yr. 8.) Hood latch replaced (brand new pc.) about one year ago. The cars hood pops but, doesn't fully open. 9.) The cars timing belt is about due to be changed but, hasn't given me a problem (no telling when can act up.) 10.) Hole in drivers side seat interior Ken 732 746 8876 cell
