Vehicle Detail

PLEASE UNDERSTAND: THIS CAR IS NOT RUNNING AND IS BEING SOLD FOR PARTS OR AS A SALVAGE CAR THAT NEEDS REPAIR. Car was running good but 2 injectors were not performing correctly causing the car to idle unevenly. I bought 2 new fuel injectors. There are 3 injectors on each side of the motor (6 total) When I installed them I must have lost a tiny O-ring type insert at the top of the 3rd injector (which I didn't replace,) I started the car and immediately smelled gas like crazy. I looked and saw gas spewing out from that injector. I decided to sell the car super cheap ($100) and not deal with it. I put my ad in and got 75 phone calls in less than 1 hour. The first person said they'd fix it themselves and take it as-is. I agreed to sell it but still I wanted to replace that seal. I went to the parts store and got a new O-ring and seal for the leaky injector. The car fired right up and everything was dandy! They drive away and 5 minutes later, I get a call from the buyer who says they see smoking from under the hood, they go to open it but its too hot to grab and they can see small flames under the hood. A fire truck showed up and they doused it in 2 seconds. I told them I would give their money back. I did. After a few days spent in disbelief, I finally looked at the car 2 days ago and wiped off the ashes and realized, Hey, this aint so bad! So I took these pictures Saturday and I just took the last 4 pictures this afternoon (April 2nd). The injector was fixed, but the fire started from the gas which was still sitting on top of the manifold. I Should have told them to tow it home or at least wiped up the gas, but they insisted they knew what they were doing and just wanted to drive it away. Aside from the melted wires on top of the motor, the only damage caused by the fire was the paint on top of the hood peeling off (see pic) Interior and the rest of the exterior were unharmed. I know the motor had good compression last weekend before I changed the injectors. I Don't know what's serviceable besides the transmission (which was perfect) and the motor below the intake manifold. The battery still was fine and all the interior electronics seem OK. I rolled all 4 windows up and tested the sunroof - all worked fine. The interior is pretty nice except the airbags are gone from (14 years ago) and the passenger front seat is torn. The stock BOSE radio reads "CODE" so you'll need to get that figured out. The body is decent. It needs a new paint job. The only body damage is: The front bumper (lower half) kind of hangs too low. and the The right front fender has a tweak from when the previous owner got a flat on the freeway, but it is definitely repairable. I have the title, and, as you can see, you get a complete car for $800. The engine seems intact except for the wiring harness on top but with the fire, you probably need injectors.0e belts and battery look to be unaffected and operational. The battery works great still. The top of the coils are ugly but they might work, and I'll throw in an extra coil for it. If you need a solid motor, or a good used transmission, they would cost at least $800 or $900 each. You can take what you need, or, repair the car and keep it. I am not offering any type of warranty on this car. I bought it for my kid and I am losing over $2000.00 on it. It is AS-IS. Also, I don't want to spend any time dealing with questions or helping arrange pickup. I would prefer if you paid with Paypal, asked my address, and I leave the title and keys in an envelope at my home where its parked. The car does have a California Salvage Title from a prior accident 14 years ago and the tags expired last Summer. But I do have an actual Pink Slip in hand and a Haynes Repair Manual is included. The car is black with black leather.
