1989 Buick Reatta. I have added a few more details in order to be as honest and clear about the car as possible. This car was inherited from a family member who was the original owner. It has a very low, actual mileage of 42,083 miles. Unfortunately, it lived its entire life in Long Island, New York and has been exposed to salted roads. The paint is dull but should buff up nicely. There are some nicks and a few small dents. There is no rust on the body. The interior is very good; just a little dirty in places. Seats are leather. The headliner is detaching, so this will need to be replaced. It has air conditioning (recently rebuilt and retrofitted for R-134a refrigerant), AM/FM Cassette, power windows, power seats(with optional 16-way driver's seat), cruise control, power locks, security system, power steering. All work well. It has a set of brand new tires with less than 200 miles on them and a brand new battery. The touch screen computer CRT has been recently rebuilt and works great. All top level computer functions work fine but there is a problem with the diagnostic section (says everything is not working and indicates an error). It's not all good news; here's the bad. Due to northern road conditions, the undercarriage has loads of surface rust. I do not believe any of this is structural. Rust has caused the brake lines to fail so they will need to be replaced. The car runs but cannot be driven due to the lack of brakes. Prior to the brakes failing I drove this car a small amount around town and on one longer trip of about 200 miles at highway speeds. It ran well and straight but did stall a few times around town and once on the longer trip. Not sure why. I have put a lot of time into this car and it was almost good to go. The failure of the brake lines was the last straw for me. If you are willing to put in the time, I believe this can be a good car by finishing a few things. The tires alone were close to $400.00. Car is sold As Is, Where Is with no warranty given or implied. The car must be trailered or towed away by the buyer. It cannot be driven away.
