The car is running, and the engine sounds good. Transmission acts funny some days it will run without a problem and others it will shift late. It's intermittently. It has only 197,483 miles on it. The exterior of the car has some minor imperfections, but there is no major damage, only some appropriate weather wear. The interior is in decent condition for a 1996 there is some wear, small tears, on the seats, but nothing too severe, The sunroof upholstery does need to be redone, but the sunroof itself still works. The check engine light does not turn on, even when the car is off so the bulb might be broken. Smogged about a year ago before the light went off. It has power windows and seats. The window switches have started to work intermittently which is common on these Mercedes. Remember this is a high quality car, and once taken care of the small things it needs it will make a great reliable means of transportation.
