1977 HORNET AMX I'm selling this amc for a friend of mine , but have driven the car and know some about it. First off this car is not a show car but does present itself pretty good , it drives good .I believe you could get in it and pretty much go where you want to go . engine starts right up idles good , but does have a little hesitation on take off . Tranny shifts well through out all gears . The tires are like new . This car is above average for the year . A couple of good weekends and a small amount of money could make this a top notch car.It does need a little TLC . The interior is nice but needs the seats touched up as seen in pics. They have been color changed and i have noticed a few screws missing . The things that didn't work are cigarette lighter, temp guage , horn and radio. There are a couple of rust spots that will need some work as seen in pics. Overall the paint looks good and shinny and may have a few chips and light scratchesbut not bad at all. Now for underneath the car , i did see a spot on the passenger side floor pan a 1" x 5" that has been fixed . Engine compartment needs a full detail , as whole car does to be nice . There are a few things missing on car but still a very presentable car the way it is. Im not sure if mileage is correct or not . The engine sounds good and has a good oil pressure .. I think i've giving you enough pics to determine the condition of this car . So at this starting price you can't go wrong . So bid to own . I will expect a $500.00 non refundable deposit at end of auction , and the car to be picked up in 2 weeks after that or sooner. We will assist you loading the car on your trailor , the rest is up to you. CAR IS SOLD AS IS WITH NO WARRANTY !!!!
