This 1965 4.2 E-type is probably the most desirable coupe, Jaguar has ever made. The car has the 4.2 liter engine in it with the triple carburetors. It also came through with the synchromesh gearbox and the very desirable covered headlights. The engine was rebuilt by Bill Tracy 6 or 7 years ago. The engine has all new pistons and the head was done as well as the lower end. The cost was $7800.00 for the engine rebuild. The car did spend most of it's time in Texas so the body is in very nice condition being in a dry climate. The driver's side floor pan has been replaced as you can see in the pictures. The car is pretty much complete - I do see missing though the air filter assembly, of course the jack and the tools and some little bits and bobs. All in all this is a pretty decent car to restore.
