Up for sale is a 1947 Dodge Pickup Truck. It is a 3rd owner truck. The Exterior is about 90% restored and the interior is about 80% restored. The truck has the original motor/transmission and runs good! All lights work. It has new tires, shocks, and brakes. The truck was painted inside and out in 2009 along with the powder coated wheels. The seat was reupholstered also. The speedometer has been replaced and works! We have a replacement alternator/oil gauge with lens but has not replaced it yet. We are unsure of the original miles. This truck is located in Staunton, Va. 24401. This is my dad's truck whom I am selling for. If I don't know the answer to your question I will get with him and contact you back. He is selling the truck because he does not drive it much and wants someone to have it that will drive it and finish restoring it. It has been garage/carport kept for many many years! On Mar-20-12 at 17:14:15 PDT, seller added the following information: Here are the things that could be updated: Interior - needs both door panels. The door frames were painted black when the truck was repainted. At that time the door panels were cardboard like and in rough shape so they were discarded. It looks much better with out the panels but that is personal preference. Wiring - It is original and is 6 volt. It could be updated to 12 volt if the new owner chooses. Motor/Transmission - both are all original and could be updated if the new owner chooses however it does run The serial number on the truck is 81114211 On Mar-21-12 at 17:04:26 PDT, seller added the following information: This is NOT a Barrett Jackson caliber truck and I know most of you who are bidding don't expect it to be for the price. But for those of you who do expect to get that caliber condition truck for under $10,000, don't bid because you will be disappointed. I hope I don't offend anyone, I am just tired of certain people expecting a whole lot for nothing!
