My understanding is I am the 4th owner. When original owner from 1947-1961 passed, car was given to his son and garaged from 1961 to 2005. When he passed, the third owner purchased the truck as part of an estate sale and garaged the car with very little done. I purchased it in 2009 and restored it. 99.9% original except: new electrical wiring, replaced truck bed, new distributor, wires, plugs, and coil, front parking lights, running boards, new tires on 72 Firebird rims and muffler. Interior original except paint and upholstery. Body in great shape. All original glass but the rear window has a crack. It has been stripped, de-rusted, sealed, primed and painted. Engine runs great with no adjustments. Purrs like a kitten....... gas gauge works intermittently; speedometer needs work. Local pick up only.
