2002 - Ford Escape - XLT Up for auction is our 2002 Ford Escape XLT. The SUV has run and treated us very, very well. The only reason we are selling is due to the fact that we just bought a new mini-van for our growing family. The truck has only 142,000 miles and is in really good shape for its age. The only major cosmetic issue is a crease in the front passenger side plastic bumper where someone backed into me. Other than that the exterior is in excellent shape with shiny paint and not a spot of rust. The tires are all new within the last 2 years, with two new fronts in 2010 and two new rears in 2011. The front brakes and rotors were all replaced in March 2012 with new. The transmission still shifts strong and tight, no slip, we had it routinely flushed every couple of years. The interior is spotless, the carpets and seats are free or rips, tears, and stains. All electrical components of the car are still in working order, fog lights, interior lights, power seat, power mirrors, etc. The radio is a in-dash 6-disc changer and works flawlessly.
