Vehicle Detail
1996 Ford Mustang GT Convertible The convertible driving season is upon us! I already had the top down on this car twice in the past week! THE DETAILS: V8, 4.6L engineAutomatic Transmission111,xxx miles Body in good shape and straight, no rust that I am aware ofCar has never been wreckedWindshield and rear window glass in good condition (no chips or cracks)Rear defrost works wellAC blows COLDHeat blows HOT Tinted windowsIndiglo dash boardPioneer Premier aftermarket stereo with detachable face and iPod connection in the glove boxFactory Mach speakers with very good soundHeaders InstalledDual ExhaustTitle in hand WORK COMPLETED - over $2,000 worth of recent work, including: Four new, all season tires just installed 3,000 miles ago. There's LOTS of life left on the tires.Regular oil changes (every 3-4,000 miles since I purchased the car, and it will have a fresh oil change this week) 4-wheel brake job (including new front calipers) 200 miles agoNew headlights installed AC wasn't working when I bought the car so I got it fixed (replaced the AC line and radiator fan) A New FORD fuel pump (not an aftermarket) has been installed THE GLITCHES: Rear seat in good condition, but the leather on front seats have cracks, but the seat covers will be includedFog light switch is missing (a simple fix) Top leaks on the driver's side at the top of the window (I think new seals and or top adjustment may fix the issue). Before I purchased this car, I ran a CarFax, which showed a clean history. However, the guy I bought it from filed a mechanics lien in order to obtain the title so he could sell the car to me. I don't know how it works in other states, but in Indiana, this results in the title stating the mileage is not actual, therefore it is considered a "branded title". The VIN tags on all the front fenders, trunk, hood, etc. all match, and the CarFax shows mileage history consistent with the current mileage on the car. I do have the title in hand, and two CarFax reports. ABOUT THE CAR: I drive this car every day to work and school. It's a good car, gets good gas mileage, and is very fun to drive (especially in the summer). I am only selling this car because I have found a newer body style mustang convertible which I plan to buy, otherwise, I would keep this one. PRICE: If you know anything about the Ford Mustang, you know the car holds its value. I'm looking to get $4500 out of the car. As you can see in the picture I posted of the Kelley Blue Book value, it's worth over $5200. Because of the title problem, I will be taking a loss on this car. It does not affect the integrity of the car itself, so my loss is your gain! NOTE: You can see the mileage in the pictures, but I will continue driving the car until it is sold, and therefore the mileage will be more than what is pictured. Steering wheel cover is not included. Also, the car is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end this auction early should the car sell before the close of the auction. For this reason, a BUY IT NOW option has been provided, however it is my understanding that once a bid is placed, the BUY IT NOW option will disappear.
