I bought this 1959 Morris Minor Traveller from Alabama on eBay last summer. It needs most of the wood reworked. The rear doors depend on the wood (which is structural on these) to operate properly. Before it was shipped to me, we had the right rear windows stored inside because they were so insecure in their tracks. I knew these facts when I bought it, but I think I bit off more than I can chew, so I haven't done a thing with it. I just rolled it into the garage and felt good about my clever acquistion. Someone with more wood skills should probably try his (or her) hand at this. It has lots of dash emblems commerating Pine Tree Sports Car Club automotive events, some in Central New York. The speedometer reads in kilometers, so it may have been destined for Canada or perhaps it was simply that the metric system push in 1959 was expected to prevail ultimately. The prior owner said that he had had it running using a gasoline can and gravity. I have not tried to start it because I am lazy and because I like to assume that all of my cars will run if only I could muster the energy and gumption to devote my attention to them. I think I am simply trying to avoid what could be a cruel truth. Its like not asking for a date for fear of being turned down. Sold AS IS, WHERE IS. No warranties, express or implied. I do not know what the actual mileage (or more properly, the kilometerage?) is. I added 100,000 to what appears on the odometer (11,108 kilometers) I forgot to convert kilometers to miles, so the Virginia title is technically incorrect, but the numbers are correct in some sense if you ignore the fact that they are kilometers and not miles.
