This car started off life as a normal '68 Camaro and has been transformed into the beast you see before you. It is fully equipped with all the go fast goodies to get you down the track, as well as the all the required equipment to keep you safe. I looked at the floor pans and rockers and there are no signs of rust. The entire rear of the car has been tubbed and redone in lightweight aluminum including the complete trunk. The front clip as well as the doors and even the rear bumper is light weight fiberglass. The side glass has all been replaced with lightweight lexan plastic. The paint on the car looks very nice, and there is very little cracking in any of the fiberglass. This car could be shown without any hesitation. The headlamps and taillights are functional, so this car could be driven on the street. The interior is fits its purpose with two racing seats, black carpet, and lightweight aluminum on most of the surfaces. It has the necessary gauges to monitor all systems on the car. Everything seems to work as it should. The monster Tach with shift light on the dash really allows you to dial the car in. Mechanically, this Camaro runs GREAT! The car starts right up and shifts as it should. The car currently is running a 454ci from a '74 Chevelle, but has been fully built. The previous owner claimed 650hp and 1/4 mile times sub 10 sec, but I have not confirmed this. The car starts right up and sounds super healthy with no funny noises or smoke of any kind. The TH400 transmission shifts great and was just fully overhauled. The car is equipped with all of the usual go fast parts and is running Hooker Competition headers and open exhaust. The car smokes the tires easily and I'm sure with the right adjustments sub 10sec times are most definitely possible. All in all, this is one heck of a nice car to take right to the tracks and go racing, or if you want a great starting point to drop your 1000hp Blown 502 into...here is your chance.
