I purchased a New left headlight assembly, a left fender support bracket, a left front splash guard, front left fog light, front left bumper turn signal and a front bumper cover from VW Dealership. I took it to the professional body shop and they repainted left front fender and front bumper for me. The insurance company replaced damaged parts with original VW parts from the dealership : left front spindle knuckle , left front wheel, left front strut assembly, left front coil spring, left front sway bar link, left front axle and left front fender. All parts were replaced with the original parts from the VW Dealership. All installations and paint work were done at the professional repairing and body shops. This car looks , drives and even smells like a new car. Has all season rubber original VW floor Mats and extra CarGO original VW cover in the trunk. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this car. It was just a light unibody damage - no frame or structural damage and honestly I do not understand why they gave the salvage title to this car. After it was repaired I took it to NY State inspection. It passed all tests with no problems and a clear/rebuilt title was issued. So, it is ready for a new owner. All you need to do is: to purchase it , pick it up and take it to your local DMV to re-register it to your name. The car is ready for a new owner, can be driven anywhere - Clear title (rebuilt from salvage) is on hands.
