The truck has lived a good life, does have mileage, but it's been very well kept and still looks as nice as most 08s with a fraction this mileage. The truck has new tires, it's been serviced, detailed, and needs nothing to get right on the road. It's tow ready with a gooseneck hitch in the bed and built in factory brake controller. With the Duramax and Allison, this truck is just broken in. You'll like this one, lot of truck for the money and a great buy! exterior This truck is in great shape for having a few miles. It still has super nice gloss and it looks all original. The history reports read clean, no accidents. It probably hasn't seen much if any road salt, so no rust, undercarriage as well looks nice and clean. There are no dents, no noticeable dings in the body and no bad scratches. It had a tiny bit of wear on the rockers just behind the tires but we cleaned that up. Otherwise, I don't believe it's had any paint work to speak of. The bed is in nice shape, has a b+w drop hitch. The windshield is fine, no cracks. The wheels do have a bit of delaminate, but not too bad. The tires are brand new, 285s, slightly larger than stock, they look good. There's really very little to complain about on the truck, again, looks like one with a fraction the mileage. The fender liners have been trimmed up front a bit, not sure what for. The right rear bumper has a nick and is bowed just slightly on the right side. Lastly, the drivers window is a tad hazy from dust scratches. I've been told it can be buffed out with Meguires diamond cut and a DA, we can have a go at it if you like. The photos show it well, great looking pickup! interior The interior is in clean condition. It's pretty well loaded up, power everything, heated seating, leather, nice audio system w/ ipod plugin+XM, backup parking, adjustable pedals, etc. From what I can tell, everything seems to work just fine. We put some new heavy duty expensive floor mats in it. The steering wheel cover is also new. It's worn to some extent under the cover, not ripped, just discolored. There's just a few little things inside. The passenger seat base has a couple of scratches. The drivers side bolsters are just a tad worn. The temp adjustment buttons on the controls are worn, but visible...and that's about it. The low tire light is on the dash, tire pressure monitors seem to read about 15lbs lower than what's actually in the tires, not sure if it needs reprogrammed or what. mechanical I put a few hundred miles on this truck driving it because I liked it. The truck is nice to drive, plenty of power, goes straight down the road, shifts perfect, and I was averaging about 18mpg city/highway per the instrument readout which isn't too bad for a big late model diesel. We changed the oil, filter, and fuel filter in this truck. The brake pad life is great, belt and hoses fine, trans and diff fluids look good/are full. The motor sounds good, DPF seems to be cycling fine. It's bone stock too, no modifications. The only thing I noticed is a tiny bit of play in the steering, front end was shook down and seems pretty tight. These tires are D-Load range 10-ply type tires, but they're not super heavy duty which does affect drive-ability. It's very minimal, but I'm pretty particular about my vehicles. These trucks are extremely durable and great to tow with. You'll get many years of good service out of this rig to come. comments This is a neat truck and a great buy.
