1969 MGB Roadster........Restoration Project I am selling a factory original roadster that was recently uncovered after being in storage since 1979. It is a restoration project that needs a lot work but has good bones and originality The mileage showing on the speedo is 14,211 miles I have no way of prooving if this is original mileage but you can see the car is still fitted with the factory original radio, air pump, original rubber footmats and even 6 volt batteries....the carpets are not faded and the leather seats despite having flaws look to be in generally good condition. The door and interior panels are in good condition and the carpets are in good condition and still retain their color. The factory original seats vary in condition . The head rests and seat backs are in good condition on both seats....the drivers seat cushion is in good condition but the passenger seat cushion has seam splits and the leather is split a a few places see photos. The dash and dash top are in good condition ...no splits The windshield is in good condition no cracks or scratches in the glass The chrome is fair to good condition, the front bumper is better than the back....the window seals are dry and cracked. The convertible top is shot and needs to be replaced It is is fitted with factory wire wheels......tires are Michelins and have lots of tread on them The rockers and dog legs are in good condition..no rust There is some rust in both floor panels which have been covered with temporary plates screwed in place There is one rust spot in the trunk and some rust spots in the wheel well I have not had the car running...it needs the gas tank draining, fuel lines flushing, ALL fluids need replacing before the engine can be turned over. Brakes do not work and need complete overall I do have the battery cover and carpet for the back parcel shelf.....the car also has a tonnau cover in fair condition This car is priced to sell...I HOPE THE CAR GOES TO SOMEONE THAT WILL TAKE THE TIME TO RESTORE IT
