The Lexus IS300 was the last lightweight, rear-wheel drive dedicated sportscar Toyota ever made. This ten year-old sport sedan is in excellent condition and has been very meticulously maintained cosmetically and mechanically. You must test drive this vehicle. The inline-6 2JZ-GE engine pulls like a champ and the handling responds to driver requests like a UFO (If you think it, the car does it!). The badging/emblems and exterior cosmetics on this vehicle have been tastefully restored to the original look of the Japanese Altezza, without any drastic or irreversible changes made. The IS300 was originally known as the Altezza when it was first released in 1998 in Japan and other countries. All the original Lexus parts and badging will be made available to the buyer upon request. Non-smoker. Clean title. All maintenance/service logs, paperwork, receipts, and part warranties available. The Good: -Inline 6-Cylinder 2JZ-GE 3.0-liter engine -215 horsepower - 218lb-ft torque -Full Leather Package -Lexus Premium Sound System -HID (High Intensity Discharge) headlights. The Bad: -6 CD Changer no longer works. -Gas tank empty light comes on in cold weather for first ten minutes and then reads correctly. Likely needs sensor replaced. Cosmetic wear & tear: -Excellent condition. Very good paint. -Normal minor pitting/impressions on body for ten-year-old vehicle. -Minor rock chips on front bumper. -Small thin crack on rear spoiler. -Small pit/chip in windshield. Not visible in photo but, visible up close. -Light scratching on left and right bottom corners of rear bumper.
