It’s a solid 1940 Coupe PROJECT, with a lot of work done and a lot more to do. Has a good flathead engine installed but not hooked up. Edlebrock aluminum heads, powder coated intake, chrome alternator, rebuilt 2 barrel, and chrome headers. Stock '51 block and 3 spd transmission. The front end is a Chassis Engineering 4'' dropped axle with disc brakes, new shocks, sway bar, and split wishbones. It has a 605 power steering box, a tilt column, and a Chassis Engineering Brake pedal assembly bolted to the chassis. The rear is also Chassis Engineering rear leaf spring kit with a Ford Granada diff, and shocks. The floor is new from front to back.. New "Bitchin" smooth firewall, floors, trunk , tool tray, and tail pan. It has a nice deluxe grill, and all of the deluxe trim. The doors are solid with none of the common bottom rust. They open and close smoothly and fit tight. Nice bumpers front & back. All of the glass is in, and garnish moldings installed. Has a standard dash and ORIGINAL split back seat that needs to be redone. The rear fenders are fiberglass from Wescott's, with new tail lights. The driver's side front fender has a metal patch that needs finishing (see photo). Also, the original heads for the flathead are here in good condition. It has New tires and chrome wheels with baby moons. The car is loosely assembled in some areas for photos. A lot more work is needed to finish this start to a nice 40 ford!!! Have a Clear Utah Title. I am auctioning the car for health reasons or you would not be seeing it here. The coupe is located in south east Utah at my home in Moab. I'm no "expert" on specifics of the '40 Fords but I will answer your questions as best I can and give what assistance I can on it's transport. You are welcome to inspect this car before auction ends.
