This 1985 GMC Jimmy 4 x 4 has had over $12,000 spent on it. It has a rebuilt 350 CID., 2 bolt main that has been bored .040. It has new pistons/rings, main & rod bearings, timing chain, oil pump, the cylinder heads have been reconditioned, new Edelbrock Intake and 650 off-road carburetor with K&N chrome breather, new fuel pump, hoses, belts, plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor, motor mounts, chrome rocker covers. The starter and alternator have both been reconditioned and the alternator amperage was increased. It has short tube headers with 2.5” Flowmaster exhaust with 3.5” x 16” chrome slash cut tips. It has a new radiator and overflow bottle. The transmission is a 700R4 that has been reconditioned with TCI components. The torque converter is a new TCI Saturday Night Special. The body was striped to the bare metal and all dents were pulled and repaired. The rocker panels were replaced due to rust. The left side of the truck had been damaged. The left door was repaired and the left rear quarter had to have several areas replaced with new panels. There is filler in the left rear quarter that is starting to bubble up. There is a scratch on the right rear quarter above the wheel. The truck has a nice navy blue base/clear paint job and is accented at the bottom with camo accent. All moldings and window weatherstipes with chrome accents have been replaced. The front windshield and the right rear glass in the top are new. Both cab door power window regulators are new, but the windows are slow to roll. The door locks do not work on either door. The interior was removed and replaced with floor insulation and a new fitted rubber mat.The dash pad is new. The front seats are Suburban seats that have been recovered with camo material. The rear seat is the original seat that has been recovered in camo and is missing the outer seat belts. The headliner has been recovered with camo material. The door panels were painted and have camo material accents. The rear inner panels were replaced and covered with camo and have new 6” x 9” speakers in them. Both bumpers are new chrome bumpers. The grille and headlight bezels are new. The front air deflector is new. All headlights, tail and marker lights are new. The rear driveshaft is new and all u-joints in both shafts have been replaced. The differentials have the stock 308 gears. The rear brakes have been replaced with drums turned and the right rear slave cylinder is new. Fender flares and chrome trim kit accent the body and fenders. New chrome exterior mirrors and door handles have been installed. A 6” Rough Country lift kit was installed and the Dick Cepek wheels are wrapped with 35” Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ tires. The a/c has not been charged and the compressor belt is missing. The blower motor works but makes a noise at times. I am not sure if the mileage is actual or not. All I have to go by is what is on the odometer.
