Forsale is a 1987 JEEP J20 pickup. This truck has only 48,279 origional miles on a good running AMC 360 (5.9 liter) V8 engine, and an automatic transmission. The truck is currently being used for plowing snow. The hydraulic dumpbox works well. This truck has low milage(48,279) , due to it bieng used lightly. The truck was bought new in 87' with the plow , and dump box for a school in N.Y. , to be used as a maintenence truck. The previouse owner then bought it at an auction 10 years ago , and never put it on the road , since he used it as a plow truck in the winter and parked it during the summer at his cabin in Lackawaxen P.A.. We then bought the truck and have done the same. This truck is an antique , is in good shape ,and would be an exellent restoration project. The body ,and frame are good , and solid with some rust. This truck does need some work. The trucks brakes will need to be bleed , and it may need brake lines. The linkadge on the transfercase may also need to be lubed, due to the 4X4 lever being stuck in 4-hi. The 4-wheel drive works great , with NO unusual noises, but if needed we have an extra transfercase that will go with the truck upon sale.
