This is a nice 1997 Dodge 3500 4 wheel drive with low mileage that is currently registered and inspected for sale. Let me start off by saying the only reason we are selling this is WE DO NOT NEED A 4 WHEEL DRIVE. We bought this truck over 2 years ago from a school teacher who used it twice a year to bring his large boat back and forth to the finger lakes. Since we have owned it we installed front hubs, dust shields universals, calipers, idler pully, fan belt, plugs and wires, cruise control unit, battery, brake lines, grill (original was pealing), headlights (all fogged out), rear bumper and fiberglass cap. The V10 motor runs and pulls great and we just (2000 miles ago) had the transmission totally rebuilt with 1 year 12000 mile warrantee. The body is very solid, the interior is clean, and all options work. She has the tow package with a fully functional electric brake system and under dash control box. The AC, power windows, power locks, temp and direction gauge in upper console, and cruise control all work good. The 4 wheel drive works perfect and we had installed 6 NEW tires about 3000 miles ago AND THIS TRUCK HAS NEVER BEEN PLOWED. We have been using this truck to haul classic cars and parts from our warehouses in upstate N.Y. to here in N.H. with no problems but will be replacing this truck with another dually 2 wheel drive. With the difference in gas to dieseI prices, the ease of finding gas to diesel pumps, the extra cost of maintenance in the diesel and the fact if maintained properly the V10 will go just as many miles I prefer my V10.
