Vehicle Detail

This is a waaay fun vehicle. It will turn on a dime as it has the tightest turning radius of anything I've ever driven. You do not want to own it if you don't like people pointing and smiling. Most people have never seen one. (my understanding is that these were imported for 3 years for a total of only about 7,700) I've had people follow me into the gas station, roll down their window and ask, "Excuse me but what is that?!) I've also had people take pictures as they pull beside you on the interstate. Some specifics: Zero rust, not a speck. Drives and handles tight. Old Man Emu suspension and lift that is apparently not too much as it is stable. Calamini shocks/struts, from what I can see there is a drive shaft extension that must have been needed for the lift. I did not do the mods so I can't be sure on all the specifics. Aftermarket wheels and nearly new tires. It' a nice height, not too tall and easy to get into. Warn lock out hubs. Custom interior that is black with red accent and red piping-some really nice seat covers and headrests. Accented interior parts painted red. It uses no oil and everything works properly on the mechanical end. I've done nothing to it beyond using synthetic oil in the engine. I also changed the transmission and rear differential to synthetic and added a K&N filter. It has been repainted. There are a couple nicks and scratches on the paint. This is my everyday vehicle and is not a trailer queen but looks and drives great, again, looks from gawkers all day long. T-tops come on and off nicely, I've not really taken them off and driven around as I prefer using the AC which blows cold. I have the factory sleeves for the T-tops and the owners manual and pouch. Power windows, locks, brakes and steering, cruise control works. It has not been off roaded or beat around mountain trails, I'm just not into that. I think it would be ideal for that though with the tiny wheelbase and turning radius. I would consider a trade for a 60s to 70s full size pickup, 4x4 that is mechanically sound and no rust. Please feel free to call me with any questions and I will answer them as honestly as I am able. I just pulled up the vehicle report and it says this had 123k miles on it a few years ago. The odometer shows 37,500 and there is no '1' showing up in the hundred thousand mile field. The numbers are uniform and it shows now evidence of a roll back so I dunno what to think. It certainly looks more like 37k and it's not 137k or that 1 would show. Gary 970-712-2015, PS Do not bid if you have less than 5 feedbacks unless you have called first and we've visited about it. If you are new to ebay and simply have say 4 feedbacks, great. I hate to be that way but I do not want any bidder's remorse. Also, please do not waste your time or mine if you do not intend to follow through. I've done a lot of business on ebay and 99% of us are great people. You 1%, you know who you are...admire and move along please. On Feb-13-12 at 08:05:07 PST, seller added the following information: PSS In response to a question, I typically get 23 mpg. I've gotten 25 mpg on several occasions. Also, the reserve is enough under the 'buy it now' price to warrant your bids, it's just if you really want it you may want to go ahead and buy it now. Thanks. On Feb-14-12 at 08:49:41 PST, seller added the following information: A couple of questions were asked that did not post to the ad when I answered them, here they are: Thanks for the interest, good eye. It has the Goodyear Wranglers on now, they have about 5k miles on them. The other tires were an STX something or other, they looked way cool but had a lot of road noise and rode like tank treads at low speed. I'm 50 years old and would rather have comfort than the cool look! Thanks for the interest and questions. I'll get some pics of trunk and engine later today. T he speedometer and odometer work yet read too little, about 15% on the odometer and not quite 20% on the speedometer, as near as I can figure. It should be a simple speedo gear change, I just have not gotten to it. The tires have about 5k miles on them. On Feb-14-12 at 21:56:43 PST, seller added the following information: Lot's of questions! Some more info: It does have very good acceleration and is very drivable around town and on the highway; it's just the lack of power for 5th gear. These guys have headers and exhaust that are pretty reasonable and I would think give it enough to solve that issue. http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/index.php/suzuki/sidekick-tracker-x90/exhaust.html On Feb-15-12 at 08:24:14 PST, seller added the following information: Hey I think I may have misunderstood a question regarding ride at highway speeds. I've had the X90 up to 75 and 80 and it's just fine as far a stability, it's not squirrelly or unstable in any way. As I've stated before it could just use a few extra horsepower to make cruising on the top end easier on the motor by using 5th instead of 4th. Part of this is just the power band of this motor. Again, this is why I think an extra 8-15 HP from a set of headers and exhaust would be just what it needs. I've uploaded more pics of the underside. As you can probably see from all the pics, this is a daily driver. It will probably have some additional miles for the winning bidder...hey, I'll make sure it has a full tank of gas to make up for it! On Feb-15-12 at 22:58:35 PST, seller added the following information: For those that might not read all of the questions and answers: I had someone send me a youtube link of this car shortly after it was built. Some of my answer is as follows. Hey thanks for the link! That is definitely my X90. It still had some of the Marine stuff on it when I bought it and now only has the Marine name embroidered into the back of the seats. There are some other neat videos on youtube where this X90 fords a little stream a couple times with ease. Also, from his responses to a couple questions he apparently took a low mileage engine out of a wrecked X90 and put it in this one. Perhaps that explains the odometer discrepancy? I'll be he took the entire instrument panel out of the wrecked one at the 25k mile mark that he mentions as that was the mileage of the engine he replaced and now it's at the 37k mark. All the interest and info is making it harder to sell!
