This is a very solid 1972 Monte Carlo factory numbers matching 402 big block, full load just out of storage. The car left Arizona in 1996 and was on the road here one year and went into storage. This car has solid Frame, floors and trunk pan and clean body and all original interior. The car has ps, pdb, ac, pw, tilt, 12 bolt rear, full gauges and factory tach. She runs new, with new bumpers, w/o moldings, tires, full tune up and fresh paint. The car has a nice original bucket seat console interior with all power windows working and original rally wheels. On Feb-12-12 at 06:50:39 PST, seller added the following information: To add a couple more things, first we added a couple pictures just after she was painted to show all original body holes for the lower and wheel well opening chrome were totally in tact. The second thing is the engine compartment is like a time capsule, this car being from the west coast has California emissions (smog pump,manifold tubes, and charcoal breather ) that are still totally in tact and fully functional. All the original run hoses to the solenoids, air cleaner and carb are in tact, the snog pump and the AC belts are all on the motor, and the AC lines are in their original run places and functional (AC SYSTEM DOES NEED A CHARGE). The floors, trunk pan and frame have had no repairs and the underside of the floors has never been undercoated like many from the North East. We also installed a new gas tank and sender as the old one was full of gas that turned to shellac from sitting in storage since 1987. Thanks again for looking.
