1968 Ford Mustang restoration project. Many new parts. New carpet, upholstered rear seat, and door panels installed. new dash-pad, headliner, front seat upholstery, "hump-hugger" console, sun visors and hardware all included. KYB Shocks in all 4 corners. 1" drop front coil springs (new). 1" front sway bar (new). Car has Granada front disc brake swap. Engine is a 302 from a late 80's Lincoln. Small hydraulic flat tappet cam installed. New Edelbrock intake and new Holley 600cfm 4bbl carburetor. Tri-Y headers. New air cleaner and valve covers. Much of the trim is new including tail light lenses, trunk trim, sill plates, and some badges. Transmission is a C4 automatic. This car was a project but unfortunately time has been lost to invest in this car. The car is absolutely solid. Just come open and shut the doors and you can tell the rigidness of the car. Frame rails and cowl both in excellent shape. No rust in drip rails and floors and trunk are solid. When the car was purchased it had just been painted but the idiot stored it under a tarp with an old tire laying on the hood. I believe the mark will buff out but I am not an expert on paint restoration. The car runs and sounds very healthy. However its only been run enough to see that the transmission goes into gear (1st) and into reverse. That's all I have moved the car. The interior needs finished (headliner install, front seats upholstered and installed, shifter work or replacement, dash trim, sun-visors etc.). Also, the windshield and rear glass need installed. Included are new seals and brand new chrome trim for around both pieces. The car is begging for a new set of wheels and tires. Also, the exhaust needs buttoned up, one side is hooked and complete however the other side needs the pipe tweaked so it can be fastened to the collector. There is some grill trim that the car still needs. I have the things to hook up power-steering but currently its not installed. I have over $8,000 in it. My lost is your gain.
