1975 Honda Gold Wing

1975 GL1000 17,800 miles, clear title, key, and $250.00 Shipping to California and most west coast areas.. - MECHANICAL-- Last ran this past October and driven in the to the garage. At the moment the bike is in non running condition. I charged the battery and It does turn when the start button is pushed and sounds fine. The engine is in good condition and there are no leaks etc.. The carbs will need to be cleaned or rebuilt, most likely just cleaned. It shifts through all the gears smoothly and there is no damage on the cases etc.. The front brake caliper will need to be cleaned or possibly rebuilt. The choke knob on the head set broke, although is still there and intact. - -ELECTRICAL- The headlight will need to be hooked up, the front t-signals are missing because it had the fairing on it. The taillight works and I will check the rear tomorrow. The neutral light and oil light work on the dash and have not tried any others. - -COSMETICS--- Shows well, tank is straight, missing side badges. Seat is the low profile seat and has a couple cracks. The front and rear fender have good chrome and could be cleaned up a little more. The front has a small dent in the front bottom. The headlight mounts are straight and the chrome is real nice. Gauges look great on the face and the bodies are straight, with light marks off rust that could be cleaned. The switches, buttons etc.. are all there work and not cracked. Included is a set off new grips. The side covers look good, although there is a crack in the left one on the bottom and there is some broke plastic on the mounting areas of the other. The exhausts are straight and both covers are there. The covers have some light rust and the one side has a ding in it. There is a minor split in the rear fender at the very end. - - Overall it is a good looking easy fix early 1975 and could be bad a$$ with a little detailing, carbs, maintenance, etc.. and not much money.. - On Feb-02-12 at 13:51:36 PST, seller added the following information: FEEDBACK/COMMUNICATION/BUSINESS-- It has come to my attention that people do not know how to communicate the best after a purchase or when they are not completely satisfied, they just jump the gun on something, are not logical, rational and assume things. I can also assist in shipping and getting quotes for east and west coast. I can also fully wood crate this bike, if need be, for additional charges. I can broker the shipping for you and try and get the cheapest shipping with transporters that I work with all the time and I do get good rates. For overseas, bikes usually go to a port or a logistics company in the area, you will have to arrange shipping from any port to oversea I do not deal with any off that, although I will assist in any way that will help you.
