This is a fantastic 1956, all original VW Beetle. You will not find one in better condition to be restored. The vehicle was purchased from a person who found it in a warehouse in Miami, Fla. It does not have a title. I had plans to restore this car and have it titled but just have not had the funds and hate to see it sitting. **A little clarification on how I purchased the car. The gentleman from whom I purchased this vehicle bought a warehouse in Miami a few years ago. He is a developer. The warehouse was bought with "all contents" included. He found this car and a vintage Porsche inside the warehouse and had no desire to keep them. The original floor pans are in tact and in SOLID condition. This is rare for a car this old. There are some smaller rust areas, but nothing major. The original seats, front and back, are in tact with green vinyl. The headliner is in very poor condition. The dash and all gauges are in good condition. All of the original glass is in tact and in good condition. The steering wheel was taken off because it was in poor condition. Also, the car does not come with keys. I did not receive keys when I purchased it. I have not tried to see if the engine will turn over, but it is not locked up and likely would run. This is the original engine. Don't pass up this great restoration project. I hate to let it go, because these oval windows are becoming more and more rare.
