Someone, please, take care of my baby! For auction a unique 1984 Porsche 928 euro model, automatic with a strong, powerful 4.5L V8 engine. Odometer shows 81K miles, but does not count miles anymore.It has the traditional color combination of Red, with Black interior. Rims are impeccable and tires in great condition. Transmission shifts all gears smoothly, no problems. Some scratches and nicks are noticeable, but overall the body is in decent condition. There are two rust spots, one on each of the rear window frames (less then 3inches long and thin). Interior needs some attention, with a tear in the passenger seat and a few cracks in the dash, but still functional (keep in mind the interior is almost 30years old). The 'pop-up' lights still function and the rear has the 'auotbahn light' installed!Electronics are temperamental (as with a car of this age) - dry contacts, the most important problem being the fuel gauge which works intermittently. Electronic rear hatch release not currently working. Hood release plastic lever broken (cable still functions), I have new parts.Mechanically the engine is strong, with the only known issue a loose joint at the front end of the exhaust system (rattles). Brakes fully functional, with plenty of remaining life. Purchased in 2006 and the car has NOT seen any winter weather (currently stored in the garage).It comes with a clean certificate of title, although it is important to note that this is a 'grey market' vehicle, as it was directly imported from Germany and the dash instrumentation was converted into 'English'. Therefore, the full history cannot be confirmed! (Also keep in mind this was early in the life of the car, so should have no influence) Payment with Credit cards are accepted, Paypal prefered. The car is available for inspection if you would like to inspect the car or any questions, send an e-mail, via eBay. Inspection is strongly recommended - because of the age of the car is sold AS-IS. Please ask questions, I don't want this to be a disappointment, the car has positives, but also problems, please remember it is NOT in perfect collector's condition (stating the obvious, but needed to do it)! Winning bidder must make contact within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 7 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours, I reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, I will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`. If you live in OH, you will pay me sales tax. If you live elsewhere you do that on your own. Deposit in non-refundable for deal no-completion.
