This is a 1975 Honda XL-70. It is currently licensed for the street in California through August 2012. I hold the title in my name. It is a very clean bike, runs excellent, and everything works as it should. It starts easily and runs great. Doesn’t smoke and has good compression. I have ridden it down the street a couple times, the clutch works well and it shifts smooth. Prior owner repainted the tank and side covers with the factory color in a base coat-clear coat and reapplied the correct decals. He also replaced the seat cover. All the wiring is intact and unaltered. I replaced the battery, headlight, and grips. This bike is not mint but is very presentable and clean. The alloys need to be polished as there is some corrosion on the hubs and spokes, lower fork tubes have scratches in the clear coat. It is missing the turn signals; however the switch and wiring all are there. One of the side covers has a crack in it. Gas tank is clean inside. The speedometer and odometer work and read about 390 miles. I cannot verify that this is the original mileage as I purchased this bike locally without any history or paper work. I am not very experienced with these bikes so if I have missed something in the description please ask. I am willing to secure the bike on a pallet and deliver it to a Sacramento area shipping/freight depot for an additional $40.00. All shipping costs from there will be the buyers responsibility.
