For your consideration is my 1980 Mercedes-Benz 450SL. Runs good. Has a clear title. Registered in California until April 2012. Passes California smog (last tested July 2011). I had full intentions on restoring the car but I have to move soon and don't want to pay for storage. Sold as-is.Paint is oxidized on the trunk and roof. Could use a paint job eventually.A few minor dings here and there, and a dent on the front left wheel well that I partially pounded out (photographed below). Interior needs restoration (carpet, seats, dash, etc). New carpet and seat covers would make it look great. Trunk needs new carpet too. Instrument panel is loose and a piece underneath it is missing. The horn currently isn't working. It worked at one point but I'm not sure why it's not now. Could be a fuse or something. A/C blew cold air intermittently last summer. May need a recharge or repair. Tires have tread but mixed brands. Matching spare wheel in trunk (flat tire).The soft-top is brown and in excellent condition. It looks like the hard-top was on this car most of it's life.No problems with transmission or power steering.No oil leaksBrand new battery purchased this past weekend.I have 1 original key that works on the doors and trunk. The ignition key was changed before I owned the car. I have 3 ignition keys.International Bidders: I'm happy to sell internationally but I have no idea how to ship a car out of the country.
