1998 Dodge Ram 3500 12 Valve Diesel Dually 4x4 Up for auction we have a low mileage manual transmission 12-valve Cummins Turbo Diesel. This Dodge ram is a regular cab with a steel flat bed body. It has dual rear wheels. It is 4 wheel drive. The truck is in decent shape inside and out. No rust or major dents on the cab of the truck. The truck runs and drives very well for the year. This is the last year that the 12 valve Cummins diesel engine was available. The mileage is very low for the year at only 108k. The manual transmission makes this truck great for towing. To be totally honest and upfront we are listing all of the flaws and problems with this truck. The emergency brake and speedometer both do not work. There are some small holes on the flat bed body, and a rip on the drivers side seat vinyl (see pictures). The tires have less than 50% tread life left. The truck does not have 5th gear. This problem is very common among these 5-speed manual transmissions. This problem can be fixed fairly easy if you have the mechanical ability. All other gears including reverse operate fine. The cab corners and fenders have been replaced. The truck has been repainted the original metallic green and pinstriped. The engine is completely factory except for a dual exhaust system with chrome tips. The truck has a diamond plate tool box, chrome simulators, and chrome side steps. Clean and clear title in hand.
