If your looking for an original rust free Volkswagen "Thing" here it is!! It still has the original tires on it, the spare has never hit the ground. Only 39,526 miles! I'm the third owner with all the paper trail since new. Below is a list of stuff about the car. -Purchased new on 7-21-1975 in Landover, Maryland for the amount of $2913.00 plus $88.26 License fees for a total of $3001.26. The gentlemen who purchased it was in the U.S Airforce. - 1976 He was transferred to Fairchild Airforce Base in Spokane Washington. - Then in 1998 he sold the car to a man in Idaho. The new owner drove it once, then it went into storage in his basement for 13 years until I purchased in August 2011. - The only body damage I can find is the driver front bumper and fender hit something years ago. (see photos) - Everything works- Horn, Wipers, Turn signals, Lights, Radio, Fuel Gauge,etc..... -It has the original top that needs replaced.(see photos) -The trailer hitch was dealer installed! -Original Window Sticker, Bill Of Sale, Owners Manual, etc.. are included in the sale.
