Vehicle Detail
For sale is a survivor 57 sedan. Perfect original floors, mostly original paint car that came to me with a 1972 state inspection sticker still on the windshield. I got it rolling with no engine and trans but signs of it being a v-8 stick. I pulled the frame, washed the bottom and painted the underside of body red oxide. I then proceeded to move the springs in under the frame. I installed the side motor mount pedestals and the rear cross member brackets. I then sent the frame to the powder coater. Upon return I installed a 500 plus horsepower ls-3 and a t-56 -6 speed trans with a 6 puck clutch in the frame. I then installed a brand new 9-in ford rear end with 4-11 posi and wilwood disc brakes on brand new rear springs. I installed drop spindles with 12 inch drilled and slotted disc brakes on the front with offset upper shafts in the upper arms with all new bushings. I attached that to a new 500 power steering box. I bought a Ricks 21 gallon fuel injection tank and installed all new stainless fuel lines. I installed my fuel injection harness and the headers and new exhaust system, then fired that puppy up. The billet specialties true track worked perfectly since I modified the crossmember prior to powdercoat. I installed the vintage air, tilt column, 1 piece sideglass, new windshield, wiper motor,Dakota digital dash and all brand new 55 delray interior, then set body back down on all new mounts. I installed the new PRC radiator assy with fans and condenser filled it with anti freeze, bolted in the new drive shaft and took it for a spin. One trip around the block was a thrill and a half. I called my tuner, he came out and tuned the computer while driving and now its a land rocket. About that time a well known Dirt tracker in the area bought it. He has driven it a couple of months but has some serious health issues that require him to sell. He really needs to recover his money. Check the pictures and add up the cost of parts and see if it looks like a fair price. My number is 281-689-3621. His number is 281- 705-5788. Please only call if you are interested not for instruction on how to build a hot-rod. There is no implied warranty in this car,but this is a pretty acurate desc. Thanks for looking Owner is having reservations about selling his car, since I pulled the ad it look like he is loosing his drivers license. If you still have an interest in the car call the second number in the ad. Thanks again.
