The vehicle currently has 99,192 miles, was removed from service in Nov 2011 as part of our normal vehicle rotation cycle. The vehicle appears to drive well with no apparent issues present. The tires have approximately 20 - 30% tread remaining. There is no spare tire with the vehicle. The exterior is in fair condition. The front license plate holder is cracked. There are 5 plugged & sealed holes in the roof from where the lightbar cable & various antennas were mounted. The roof also has some noticeable scratches from where the lightbar mounting feet were located. There are multiple scratches on the leading edge of the driver’s side rear door & on the driver’s side rear door moulding. The trunk has 1 plugged & sealed on & some light scratches on the trunklid. The passenger side rear quarter panel has a minor dent approximately baseball size in circumference & approximately 5-6 noticeable scratches located above the rear wheel well. There are multiple scratches on the passenger side rear door. There are also some light scratches on the passenger side front door & b-pillar, along with multiple scratches on the passenger side front door moulding. The interior is in fair condition. The rear seat back is vinyl. There are 2 screws in the driver’s door armrest to hold the master window switch trim in place. There are 3 holes in the center of the dash (1-left of climate controls, 1-right of climate controls, & 1-right of radio). There is also a small indentation in the center of the dash above the radio. The passenger side sunvisor tab is broken. The center floorboard has a cut & a small screw hole from where the police console was previously mounted. There are 2 rectangular cutouts in the b-pillar trim from where the center prisoner cage was previously mounted. The driver’s seat bottom has some tears in it from normal wear & the seatback fabric is starting to tear & fray. The backs of both seatback’s has some small rectangular indentations/tears from the seat rubbing against the prisoner cage when installed. This vehicle was serviced on a 60-day preventive maintenance cycle. It was last serviced in November 2011 at 99,145 miles. At this service, the right front tire was replaced. Other repairs to this vehicle include the following items. In Nov 2011, the vehicle had front end damage repaired at a local auto body facility (since the vehicle was scheduled to be replaced in Dec 2011, the vehicle was removed from service prior to the vehicle having body repairs completed). In Jan 2011, at 82,564 miles, the right front turn signal lamp assembly was replaced. In Nov 2010, at 80,965 miles, the left front tire was replaced. In Oct 2010, at 80,277 miles, the HVAC blend air door motor assembly was replaced. In Aug 2010, at 78,036 miles, the water pump, belt tensioner, & idler pulley were replaced. In July 2010, at 76,972 miles, the mass air flow sensor was replaced. Also in July 2010, at 76,877 miles, the intake manifold was replaced. In June 2010, at 76,596 miles, the alternator was replaced. In May 2010, at 75,121 miles, the battery was replaced. In May 2010, at 75,105 miles, the instrument cluster was replaced at the local Ford dealer. Also in May 2010, at 75,194 miles, the vehicle was repainted under warranty (hood, roof, & trunklid). In Apr 2010, at 75,134 miles, the cooling fan & shroud assembly was replaced. Also in Apr 2010, at 75,088 miles, the #5 ignition coil & boot were replaced. In Dec 2009, at 73,472 miles, the left headlamp wire assembly was replaced. In May 2007, at 16,577 miles, the vehicle was repaired under warranty at the local Ford dealer after having the check engine light on. In Apr 2007, at 16,684 miles, the cooling system was repaired under warranty at the local Ford dealer. In Feb 2007, at 12,263 miles, the left front tire was repaired & front brake pads were replaced. In Dec 2006, at 6,141 miles, the driver’s window was repaired under warranty at the local Ford dealer. In Sep 2006, at 100 miles, the power steering was repaired under warranty at the local Ford dealer. This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, at the City of Champaign Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, Illinois. The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location. The City of Champaign is required to sell all vehicles through an auction process.
