Vehicle Detail

This is a used Subaru WRX wagon. I'm thinking if you're reading this I probably don't have to tell you what's cool about these cars but I will say that I'm going to really miss this car. It's tied for favorite with my old 1979 Fiat Spider 1800 convertible. Both cars are a blast to drive. One thing I just could never get used to with the WRX that i loved with my Fiat was that it's SO hard to get the WRX to break away and slide or do donuts. The AWD, 50/50 balance and low center of mass make the WRX really well handling and a joy to drive. I hope you take a look at this ad and if you're the succesful bidder enjoy it as much as I have. Car starting: http://youtu.be/1s2GmBGYKkg Some items of note about the car: Exterior is in decent condition with typical parking lot dings and scratches for an 8 year old car. The hood had a couple dings from a hailstorm that she survived. Interior is in decent condition as well. The driver side mat definitely needs to be replaced as all the miles of heel-toe has worn a hole in it. The autodimming rear view mirror isn't autodimming anymore. Now it somehow has a bubble of darkness that floats around (pretty interesting when you think about it). Apparently, according to the service manager, this happens as it's not the most robust part. I just never fixed it because it works fine as a mirror...and it passed inspection. Chassis is in good shape as far as I'm aware. It tracks straight. No rattles or anything that Ive noted. I replaced the front passenger ball joint just a few months ago since it was feeling a little loose. Engine / Drivetrain, runs strong and as might be expected with a turbo with this many miles it burns some oil. I havent been driving it as my daily driver for awhile so it takes a quart perhaps every other month. The Carfax report will show an accident. I was in a long line of traffic in icy conditions. Traffic started moving and the car in front of my stopped abruptly, I hit some ice and slid into them. Was low speed but enough to get a new front fender, hood, radiator and rear bumper out of the deal (person behind me got me too). Probably didn't help that I was always exhausted with having a 3 month old baby in the house. :) Electrical: Has a brand new battery. No electrical issues. Front O2 probe was replaced a year ago. Tires: Reasonably new with plenty of tread left, see photos. Happy bidding!
