HELLO eBay'ers. Up for sale is my 1985 1/2 Porsche 944. It's a 5-speed manual car with a 2.5 litre engine. It currently does not run, so it will need to be towed outa here. I can deliver upto 300 miles for a resonable fee. I bought this car some time ago to build into a spec 944 race car. I was getting to big (i.e fat) for my spec Miata car so this seemed to be the way to go. Unfortunatly I ran into some health problems (multiplte spine surguries) and my racing days are over.......I have never turned a wrench on this car, never been under it, never even hooked up a battery. It doesn't run is what I was told, so I just assumed the worse and you should also. The body is prettty clean with a minor ripple in the right front fender above the wheel, and a small crack in the front facia around the right fog light. No RUST that i"ve seen. The interior is worn out also. Being that I was looking for a rac car, this was PERFECT. If you wanted to restor it, you could, but it would be way more fun to make a race car and really drive it like a Porsche was meant to be driven. The car has the rare and very valuable FUCH staggered rims that seem to be in great shape. This is also what is considered an 85.5 model, not an 85. The 83-85 944's were really just 924's with a fender flares, in mid 85 Porsche stepped up and re-designed the suspension and interior making this car to be considered one of the best handling machines ever. Feel free to come look at car if your local or ask questions. Vehicle is located in Wildomar, Ca 92595, about 80 miles South/Southeast of LA. Bill of sale will be provided. I do NOT h.ave a title on vehicle, but a paper trail is in place if you wanted to get one. Being that I was never planning on putting the car on the road this wasn't a problem for me. Due to the high number of deadbeats on eBay I do request that all bidders with a feedback score of less than 10 contact me before bidding. eBay is showing that it has a salvage title, but no info as to previous damage. To my knowledge it hasn't been wrecked. I bought the vehicle from a guy that bought it from a tow yard auction. In my opinion it should be a lien-sale title that should end up clean.....but hey, common sense never rarly works with DMV so do your own investigation, and feel free to insoect vehicle
