Well I hate to do it but up for sale is my 1971 Buick Riviera. I really hate to sell this car. I have owned it for about 10 years and I bought it from the original owner. The car runs and drives like a dream and needs nothing mechanically. The only thing I have done to the car is add HEI ignition, replaced the speakers throughout, put a stereo in the ashtray so I didnt cut the dash. The interior of the car is perfect except for a small crack on the drivers door panel. The body is in great shape with only 2 minor rust spots on the rear fender edges. The car does need paint and is only primered. I had a friend who ownes a bodyshop that was supposed to paint it but it never worked out. There is no rust anywhere else on the car. There is no bondo anywhere on the car. There are no scratches, tears, or thin spots anywhere in the interior. The dash has no cracks at all. All the glass is in good shap with no cracks or chips. There are some scratches on the drivers window. I have tons of extra parts for the car that I would sell in addition to the price of the car. Including a full set of replacement glass including the rear glass. I do have a rubber kit that goes with the car. The car has brand new tires all the way around with less than 100 miles on them. I drove the car as my daily driver until gas prices and a layoff forced me to drive something more economical. This car will start right up and you can walk away from it. No waiting for it to warm up or feathering the gas just get in and go. It has been sitting in my garage for about 6 months. It needs a battery but I will put one in it if the car sells. I dont think I have the molding that runs down the fender's. I havnt seen it since we moved. If the car sells I will make every attempt to locate it but no promises. The car has bucket seats and a console shift wich is rare, it also has posi-trac. I have the original owners manual and all the dealer brochers that I will included with the car.
