Up for sale is a rare Chrysler Imperial. Powered by a 318 V8 with a 4-barrel carb on an edelbrock intake manifold. Carb is a fresh reman, distributor is a brand new HEI style. Car currently isn't driveable due to fuel starvation. Fires right up if you spray carb cleaner down carb. May need a fuel pump, or pick up, or tank cleaned out. I bought this car a few years ago with the intent to make a hot rod out of it. Due to health problems (spine surgery) I was not able to finish the project, nor am I able to work on cars like this anymore. The body is great with only very mnor rust under the rear license plate, and under the fuel cap door, no rust anywhere else as it's a California car. the interior is very clean and the color combo of Snow White Leather with Blood Red carpeting is just insane. There is nobody building a car like this anymore. The back seat is almost perfect, but the driver's seat shows some wear. It's fine for a driver, but should be redone to match the condition of the rest of the interior. I really love the shape and style of these 1981-83 Imperials, as I also have another one (blue, FS model) that will be listed shortly. Bottom line, this car has to go. It's sitting on my trailer and I can deliver for a resonable fee within 300miles. The metal recycler will give me $450 for the car to shread and send off to China to make crap for Walmart, but I'd much rather see it go to good use. Once these rust-free bodies are gone, they're gone. I'd suggest dropping a late model HEMI into it and having a really cool car to cruise around in. Save it from the scrapper, bid to own.
