1997 Honda XR

You are looking at my air cooled 1997 Honda XR400 that was rebuilt about 3 years ago with slightly higher compression piston, valves, guides rebuilt/replaced, exhaust cleaned up and suspension tuned. This is a very dependable, easy to ride dirt bike that with little money could be made street legal. I have it registered for dirt only because that is all I need for the rural area I ride in. I don't ride much but can always count on this machine starting and getting me to and from the trail head. It can handle very difficult trails, as well as fast, open dirt roads. These bikes are known for their dependablity and easy of riding. I has installed a larger "desert" tank and I have the original if you want. I think it has an after-market carb, and maybe exhaust pipe. It is very powerful, outrunning my friends XR600! You can pay for it now, but don't have to pick it up till you are ready (spring?).
