Vehicle Detail
Urraco P111 (21 Made) The P111 was developed for the American market. These cars were basically the same as other Urracos with the exception of the obvious heavy black bumpers and large side marker/signal lights on the front and rear fenders. All Tipo 111's also had metallic paint, power windows, air conditioning, seat-belt light with warning buzzer and smog equipment. The engine was also modified with different Carburetors to comply with tighter U.S. emission standard. These were Solex units similar to those used by Porsche for their U.S. cars. Horsepower was drastically reduced from 220 bhp to 180 bhp. Only 21 of these cars were made and I believe only 9 are left. It came previously from a museum in Oklahoma City, OK. This model has had the solex carburetors replaced with Webber carburetors and the smog equipment has been removed - all before I got the car. It also has a Sony CD player with updated speakers along with the original dash box. The vehicle has 22,889 miles and the engine currently is not running and has all oil and fluids removed. The engine started running rough so I shut it down, checked the oil via the dip stick and saw that coolant was in the oil. I trailered it home and drained all of the fluids at that time and it has been sitting in my garage covered ever since (~2007). The engine needs new gaskets, and I couldn't find someone to help me fix it - hence it has been sitting so long. It is hard - but I need to let this awesome vehicle move on.This vehicle has a clean title and is really in excellent condition and would be a rare prize for anyone that owned it.
