Up for auction is this rare 3 window Chevy coupe. It is all original with a 4 cylinder engine and 3 spd manual transmission. With original steel disc rims. I am not aware of any missing parts. There doesn't appear to be any rust-through anywhere on the vehicle. It is a very sound car. Body is straight with only one dent in the back fender and easily repaired. The car does need both door glass(flat & inexpensive) The windshield is good and it works and you can roll it up about 4 inches to let air in, however, rolls up and down nicely. The passenger door opens and closes good with the drivers door needing a new screw in the top 2 hinges. All the wood is very solid. (See pictures) The tires are OK, however, the drivers side goes low on air slowly. The top of the car is in good shape. (See pictures) Needs new hide-um welt around bottom. Headlights, tail-lights, horn and gauges all work. It has the original upholstery on seat. The trunk inside is very solid around the wheel-wells. The floor of trunk is all solid. (See pictures) I have driven the car and it goes down the road good and stops good. It will need the carb cleaned - just from sitting. The engine runs smooth and doesn't smoke.(When carb is clean) It shifts just fine. Radiator in great shape, not dinged up, and it doesn't leak. The grill shell is also nice. Overall this is a very solid running driveable and most of all rare little coupe. Restore or drive as is. It has the original patina with a very reasonable reserve below $6K. This car is currently in a garage and can remain there for 30 days to allow for transportation or pick up. The arrangement & payment of transportation is the responsibility of the buyer.
