This is a 2001 VW GTI VR6. It’s a very fast, fun sports car that I wish I did not have to sell. The VR6 means it has the 6 cylinder engine that is harder to find which offers more low-end power and plenty left over to get that car up and going at the higher RPMs. I can pass people with ease on the freeway…so much fun! - Leather seats - Heated seats - Anti-lock brakes and Anti-slip Regulation - New pioneer stereo with iPod/mp3 compatibility via USB and AUX - Relatively new tires (under 15k) - Anti-theft - Moon/Sun roof - Daytime running lights - Front and side airbags - Cruise control - Rain sensor windshield/automatic wipers - Auto light sensor on rear view mirror - Automatic windows - Keyless entry - 16” wheels - Back seats fold down flat - Stock back window tinting - Paint is excellent condition for a 2001 Now it is a used car so let’s go through the not so great. I bought the car with no air conditioning working. I have not had the money available like I thought I would to work on it so I only got half way with that. Both the compressor and the climate control unit needed replacing. I have put in a new compressor and dryer (and have the paperwork for it), but have not gotten around to the control unit. As you can see in the pics, there is one hole in the driver side seat that I patched for now. I bought it without the patch. The front bumper has a dent and there are spider cracks on the rear bumper (also shown in pics and again…bought it that way). Glove compartment needs to be replaced. The handle broke and seems to be a signature of these cars (poorly designed for the gti). You can still open and close it though. Center console cover is also broken but it stays on just fine. Overall, I love this car so much. It’s fun, fast, and good looking. I'm moving and need a bigger car that can tow.
