Vehicle Detail
Up for Bid is is a near perfect, NOT Museum quality, Fiero GT. I drive this car weekly. Beware of a 20+ year old car with 300 miles on it. When you start driving it...it's gonna leak fluid from every spot imaginable. The seal and gaskets are hardened. Heating them up, they will crack open and leak. This car gets driven weekly in sunny weather to keep fluids moving, battery charged, and....for FUN! And Fun it is. I am the 3rd or 4th owner as far as i know. But, this car was taken care of. I have never driven it in the rain. The car is in great shape. Interior: The interior is near perfect. The steering wheel has a couple small wrinkles on it. The Fiero Store has new ones...if you must have. The seats are grey cloth in perfect shape. No stains or tears. The carpet is perfect, and i have added Fiero floormats from the Fiero Store. The dash is perfect, no cracks, or scratches of any kind. There is a SLIGHTLY visible fingerprint on the gas gauge from when I replaced the gauge. This was done to correct the fuel level problems common to the Fiero. Power window glass is clear, unscratched. The sunroof is perfect, no leaks, and seal is perfect. Exterior: The car has been repainted the Original Black color. This was a professional $3500 paint job...and it shows. Car is Beautiful with not a scratch. Paint is Perfect. Door jams are perfect. Window scrapers and seals are new from GM. The motor is untouched original. Car starts at the first BUMP of the starter. I have added a reusable K&N air filter. It has a VERY rare, fully funtional, "Holley" air scoop on the drivers side on the factory intake port. The wheels are Silver Coated made by BBS. Fronts are 16x8 w/ 225-50-16 Khumo Ecsta AST. Rears are 17x9 w/ 235-45-17 Khumo Ecsta AST. These are NEW "H" rated tires with all the tread. Wheels are perfect with NO road rash or scrapes. Under front hood is perfect. It comes with the factory deflector for when removing the sunroof. Sunroof sets in factory underhood receptacle, and deflector clips into front of sunroof. There is a Factory Fiero padded, lined bag to place the glass roof panel in. Engine compartment is really clean. The Fiero intake has been re-powdercoated in the factory red. The oil has been changed every 3k miles. Motor has been recently tuned, new plugs, module, rotor, cap, and better than factory wires for reliability and mileage. The factory "red" wires are gone in place of higher quality wires. If you "need" the red wires, they are available thru The Fiero Store. The fuel pump and gas tank level float device have been replaced to correct the fuel level indication problems common to the Fiero. Performance: This car starts, runs, drives perfect. The Engine is untouched, completely factory. The Air Conditioner blows freezing cold. AC is the new 410 freon. Heater blows hot. Everything works on the car. Wipers, washers, horn, flip up headlights, power door locks, power windows, ALL work PERFECT. Factory stereo and EQ work perfect, and the speakers sound great. I have a factory subwoofer, speaker, and overhead controller, but it is not installed. I purchased these from an ebay seller, but have not taken the time to install. Ball joints have been replaced, and sway bar bushings have been replaced with high performance poly-urothane. I have recently had a 4 wheel alignment done. I have tried to disclose EVERY facet of this car, good and bad. This car is a car you can feel comfortable driving every day. It gets tons of looks, everywhere I go. It is truely a driver, and is extremely reliable. It needs nothing. I have taken extreme care of this car. The only reason I'm selling, is, I'm really wanting a new Ford Mustang, and have too many toys. It's been fun having this car, but it's time to let it go, and hopefully allow someone to have equal good times driving this neat piece of Pontiac history. Terms: Payment will be due in full. Delivery should be arranged by buyer. I can help with delivery if needed. Prefer Cashiers check, but Paypal is acceptable. Feel free to ask any questions.
